MONDAY, MAY the 20th – 9.00am - 5.00pm
  • MORNING : Presentation by the City Council : Copenhagen yesterday, today & tommorrow...

    ...followed by a 31/2 hours ride accross the city. We’ll bike from one spot to the other stopping at key points showing good practices in sustainability, smart nodes, soft mobility, pragmatic, playful and auto-run public spaces, etc...

    in the meantime we’ll stop by a former industrial manufacture reconverted as a new place to be for your lunch break before we meet back for the rest of the visit.

  • LATE AFTERNOON : back on our feet for the visit of an unusual park made with and for users.

TUESDAY, MAY the 21th – 9.00am-5.00pm
  • MORNING :Presentation by the architects responsible for Copenhagen’s metamorphosis, followed by a visit of their work on site - Proof that pragmatic design is possible !

    Lunch break at an interactive market house mixing indoor market, food court and deli

  • AFTERNOON : Visit of the new ongoing developments by foot, metro & water-bus (4 hours – make sure you have good walking shoes !)

WEDNESDAY, MAY the 22ND – 9.00am - 3.30pm
  • MORNING : Biking around Ørestad, a district born out of an architecture competition answering strict standards of sustainable development, zero carbon policy and environmental compliance.

    Danish meal at the foot of one of the most famous landmarks of this competition

  • AFTERNOON :Visit by foot of “Freetown Christiania“, a former military site turned into a semi-autonomous community.
